Stephen Powers, also known as ESPO, has been a god in the graffiti game for years. His work transcends simply "getting up," and he is now commissioned for public pieces all over the world. His art fuses the technical skills of a sign painter with the sentiment and thoughtfulness of a conceptual artist, plus the same street art swagger he's always had. A Love Letter to You, a new film from Ghost Robot and Joey Garfield, chronicles ESPO's journey from his humble roots throwing up tags to his current civic projects in New York City. Previously only seen at select screenings, the film is now on iTunes, Amazon, youtube, and other digital platforms. We managed to get an exclusive clip from the movie, which you can watch above. The music featured in the video is from shoegaze faves, Lilys, so that's added incentive to watch.
