Troy Stains Is Haunting His Own Body
For the past couple of years, I've been shooting personal work, just kind of waiting for themes and patterns to emerge, and I think they finally are. I recently began shooting a series called Lost in the Cosmos as an homage to the works and ideas of Walker Percy. He was great at pinpointing the symptoms and causes of the modern malaise which plagues most of us. I'm trying to make a graphic representation of that feeling, of being a detached self haunting one's own body.
Troy Stains is a fine art and editorial photographer working in Atlanta, GA.
