EPICLY LATERD

Beauty and the Beast

In our final installment of Beauty and the Beast, we watch Girl and Antihero enjoy a hero’s welcome as they arrive late to the last demo. While claims abound that they were lost on the road, it’s evident that really they were lost̷...

There were rumors that the Beauty and the Beast tour would carry on forever, ending only when the last skater fell off the mortal coil. Unfortunately, those rumors were untrue and now we find ourselves at the tenth and final installment of our journey out West with Girl and Antihero. But, at this point, doesn’t it feel a little strange to divide this group of men with two labels? It’s plain to see that, not unlike a two-part Voltron, they’ve coalesced into a single super team. Going around the scene of the final demo, our reporters collect votes for tour MVP with little consensus emerging beyond the fact that Mike Carroll was “most likely to be drunk at any given moment.” Surveying the local skaters, Brian Anderson announces a second superlative: “kid with the most fucked up board,” to whom he bestows a gift. And with that heartwarming moment, we end this chapter of Epicly Later’d.
