Teddybears: "Sunshine"

No more sleeping in the bear's den.

Earlier this week, we gave you a taste of the return of Teddybears in the shape of photos. If you're unfamiliar with the Teddybears, you've probably been buried deep under ground for the past 15 years or so, and hence missed the most important big-heads to come out of Sweden's music scene, like, ever. There's been a few years of silence in the bear's den. However, each of the three Teddybears have been keeping themselves pretty busy building quite some impressive CVs on their own. Fortunately they're returning just in time for summer with the seemly single "Sunshine", released tomorrow in Europe on Universal/Stranded, and on Monday in the US on Atlantic. We're obviously proud to have gotten our hands on the song first. As often when bears swiftly wake up, some pretty mad stuff happens. With a melange of a – seriously – wide spectrum of genres, spanning from garage rock via pop to dancehall, the Teddybears deliver pop-funk-summer-rock with vocals by Malte Holmberg and Natalie Storm. "Sunshine" is the first single from Teddybears' eight album, which will soon be spinning on a record player near you.
