Protests against the administration of Thailand's Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra have been ongoing since October of 2013. The demonstrators claim the administration has bought votes, and have vowed to disrupt polling stations at today's general elections. This morning, a gun battle broke out in front of a Lak Si district building where ballots are being cast. Six people were injured by the gunfire and explosions, and this may foreshadow further clashes today. Tonight, VICE's Tim Pool is live streaming the protests and elections from Thailand.
