Do you remember Windows 95? I don’t, because I was three years old. But if you do, then you’ll probably remember that it was a pretty big deal.In fact, it was so much of a big deal that Microsoft spent over 300 million dollars on an advertising campaign that included a Rolling Stones song, free copies of The Times newspaper for everyone in London, lighting up the Empire State Building with the colours of the Windows logo and an amazing 30-minute cyber sitcom featuring Jennifer Aniston and Matthew Perry. JK, it's terrible.
Basically, it was an expensive launch for the shittest piece of technology ever. But, there were some added bonuses. The other week my friend sent me the above video, which shows that the “Fun Stuff” folder for Windows 95 included music videos for both Weezer’s “Buddy Holly” and, urm, Edie Brickell’s “Good Times”.It’s pretty cool considering that iPhones don’t even come with an instruction manual, let alone an awesome song.Follow Ryan on Twitter: @RyanBassilHere's a few more weird things we found on the internet:Akon's Wikipedia Page Is AmazingThe NSFW Video From Is Tropical Is The Best Thing I've Seen All Year
