These photographs were taken over the course of a year I spent living and working on a small farm up in the Green Mountains of Vermont.
My days there might have not been as exciting as those I spent trying not to get stabbed in Nicaragua or asking shady characters for a ride in America, but the hippies and the rednecks I befriended kept things ticking over.
Add in their shotguns, a few Jeep-loads of chickens and the Green Mountains looming overhead, and time passed with a nice sense of simplicity.
