Jameis Winston Picked Off Twice In Opening Five Minutes

Not that it will matter in the long run, but the Florida Gators have intercepted Jameis Winston twice in Florida State's opening drives.

It's the first half, so obviously Florida State is playing like shit warmed over twice. The Florida Gators have picked off Jameis Winston twice in the opening five minutes of the game but they haven't been able to capitalize on either beyond a pair of field goals. Not that it would matter, Florida State would likely come back in some unbelievable fashion anyway, but at least make them work for it, Gators.

Jabari Gorman intercepted Winston on the opening drive of the game at Florida State's 39-yard line. The Gators were able to gain four whole yards and had to settle for a 52-yard field goal. Quincy Wilson picked Winston off on the next drive at midfield with a great diving catch you can see in the video above, and this time the Gators got 26 yards (in ten plays) before having to settle for another field goal. Look for Florida State to invent a whole new, yet somehow totally legal, play in the second half that nets them 35 points and another inexplicable comeback win.
