The Jets play the New England Patriots tonight at Foxboro and, despite falling apart at the seams, the Jets are trying to rally the troops. Here's a hype vid posted to the Jets website and Facebook page that has a decidedly Michael Bay feel to it. Which is fine, football is very Michael Bay-y, but then you get to the very end and there's a graphic that reads "RIVARLY RENEWED" and, goddammit guys, what the fuck?Typos happen all the time, but this is just a perfect storm of ineptitude that is so very Jets. To be a Jets fan is to suffer through a series of never-ending indignities and there is no better way to prime the pump for another heartbreaking loss than misspelling "rivalry" before a primetime game against the Patriots, the yin to their yang, the Roadrunner to their Wile E. Coyote. In fact, "RIVARLY RENEWED" is the Jets-Pats rivalry.
