The Jets Can't Spell "Rivalry"

The Jets can't spell rivalry. That's all you need to know about their supposed rivalry with the Patriots.

The Jets play the New England Patriots tonight at Foxboro and, despite falling apart at the seams, the Jets are trying to rally the troops. Here's a hype vid posted to the Jets website and Facebook page that has a decidedly Michael Bay feel to it. Which is fine, football is very Michael Bay-y, but then you get to the very end and there's a graphic that reads "RIVARLY RENEWED" and, goddammit guys, what the fuck?

Typos happen all the time, but this is just a perfect storm of ineptitude that is so very Jets. To be a Jets fan is to suffer through a series of never-ending indignities and there is no better way to prime the pump for another heartbreaking loss than misspelling "rivalry" before a primetime game against the Patriots, the yin to their yang, the Roadrunner to their Wile E. Coyote. In fact, "RIVARLY RENEWED" is the Jets-Pats rivalry.
