The Suns Are Having Some Problems

The Phoenix Suns managed to botch a routine inbound play after a Houston basket.

You wouldn't think it possible for professional basketball players to completely bone a routine inbound play, but there are Erik Bledsoe and P.J. Tucker, completely boning a routine inbound play.

The Suns have been on the losing end of some terrible luck this year, but usually it involves an improbable buzzer-beater where the ball rattles around the rim for five minutes before finally going. This, however, is their own doing. Bledsoe and Tucker got crossed up over who would inbound after a Trevor Ariza layup. Bledsoe inbounded to Tucker, but Tucker thought he was giving it to him to inbound, so he stepped back out of bounds and tried to pass it back in. That is not how it works.
