In 2016 RedBull rider Toby Price was thrust onto the world stage by becoming the first Australian to win the Dakar Rally, and the first person ever to win after only two attempts. But while his rise to fame has been sudden, the road to Dakar has been long and hard.We caught up with Toby on his way to the local dirt bike track to talk about riding as a two-year-old, the struggle back from a severe spinal injury, the pleasure of pain and the thrill of winning the world's most punishing endurance race.
