Look at the screenshot I shared above. That’s what the end of the world will look like, when Skynet finally launches the missiles. The disco drone party was shown at the most recent edition of German art conference Ars Electronica, and I believe it’s called The Cloud in the Network. (Google Translate kinda blew it on this one.) According to DVICE, the drone dance was designed by a group culled from Ars Electronica Futurelab and Ascending Technologies GmbH. The group has said the 49 quadrotors is the most ever put aloft, although it’s kinda hard for me to confirm that while I’m sitting here frozen like a feargarita whose glass is rimmed with awe.
