Last night, the Division II Blue Knights of Urbana University took on the Wright State Raiders out of the always-pesky-in-the-NCAA-tourney Horizon League. Urbana is a private Ohio school whose roots go back to Johnny Appleseed, fitting because Wright State's Steven Davis climbed Urbana's Dalton Payton like a damned tree.Let's see it again, this nasty Steven Davis TOMAHAWK JAM!Davis's furious posterizing—(Drunk Uncle Voice) Do these Gen-Z kids still hang posters on their wall with Scotch tape, or is it all got a meme my 4chanagram, bleep, bleep, pfffffttttttt—of Payton was indicative of Urbana's night. The Raiders rolled 85-34, allowing the second fewest points in school history. Urbana has brighter days ahead, though, what with the sun, rain, appleseeds, and all of the other things they need.The Lord was also good to Steven Davis, who is now an early leader in the dunk of the year sweepstakes.
