So, Michigan State held its Midnight Madness pep rally last night and perennial good sport Tom Izzo got decked out in KISS gear for the occasion. The above is a brief clip the Spartans put together and it shows Izzo and his family watching highlights of his now 20-year career in East Lansing before heading to the arena to join KISS in concert. It's a fun little bit, if not hugely, hugely awkward.To celebrate Izzo's tenure, Michigan State created a logo for the milestone: IZ20, substituting "20" for the final "ZO" in Izzo, a trend that has become a societal blight, but the real reason we are hear is Tom Izzo, KISS accordion player.And Tom Izzo, Gene Simmons-esque tongue wagger.
