We Lost Our Camera But Someone Else Took Photos at the Aarght Birthday

On Saturday we headed along to the Tote for the Aarght Records tenth birthday and got absolutely belted. There was the lineup for one. Nun, The UV Race, Drug Sweat, Ubik, Leather Towel, Rabid Dogs, Spotting and Ooga Boogas. Phew. Then there was the bar, the beer and the best-times-we've-had-in-ages.

We had the intention of taking some snaps but somewhere along the way lost our camera, phone and parts of our self-dignity. Thankfully, David Forcier was down the front capturing all the raw energy.

As our highlights had blurred into one big loud highlight we asked Aarght Records' Rich Stanley for his favourite parts of the night:

- Drinking light beer with the Ooga Boogas and "finding our sound". Again

- Ubik

- Setting up for Drug Sweat, Angus kicks the drums over everywhere. JET comes over the PA, and I realise that no-one gives a fuck about anything in the slightest

- Both front bar DJs walking off at the same time too cooked to continue

- Walking home at dawn
