Our photographer friend from the heart of the Midwest, Barrett Emke, gave us a sneak peak at his new book which is coming out next year and we loved every bit of it. His photos seem simple on the surface, but his use of color and light resonate strongly. He shot intimate scenes about life in Kansas, which come off as almost dreamlike yet vivid at the same time.
