Khost's second album, Corrosive Shroud, is a bloody nightmare. The record (due out June 8 via storied industrial label Cold Spring) features the chilling spoken talents of Oxbow's Eugene Robinson, but he's far from the scariest thing about this album (and that's saying something).

The Birmingham, UK duo—which is made up of Andy Swan and Damian B—welds together industrial clangs, mechanized noise, lumbering doom, haunting chants, and ultra-distorted screams in that clever, cruel way we've seen other British extremists like Napalm Death and Dragged Into Sunlight flirt with the harshest of elements. It's an intense listen, one that demands both attention and submission.
