Watch the Herky Jerky New Video From Canberra's Wives

The four-piece are back with a new record that's full of their excellent and jittery punk.

The last time we caught up Canberra’s Wives they had recently changed their name from Sweet Shoppe and were readying for the release of their debut album.

Well the four piece are back with a new video and a new record. Devoted to You their debut 12” vinyl will be released soon on the excellent Adelaide label No Patience records.

Directed and created by John Evans the video for "To Sin" features jittery, stoppy/starty, herky/jerky movement that includes animated bones, steak knives and what looks like a punker (and better) version of the Rolling Stones lips logo.

Wives of course sound nothing like the Rolling Stones, that is unless Keith has started writing post-punk guitar lines.

If you are in Canberra, Wollongong or Sydney this weekend make sure you catch Wives at one of their shows (details below).

Upcoming Wives shows:
May 21 - Canberra at the Phoenix with Totally Mild and Passive Smoke
May 22 - Sydney at Black Wire Records with Hannahband, Lovely Head and Twinrova
May 23 - Wollongong at Rad Bar with the Nuclear Family and Passive Smoke
