Premiere: Ufornia - "Never Knew"

Danish duo Ufornia is a beacon of a post-punk wet dream in this increasingly shitty present.

The economy is in the shitter, there's war, hatred and bloodshed everywhere and we'll probably all die of ebola and global warming, which obviously sucks for, well, everyone. But seeing as that kind of "holy shit, we're so fucked"-dystopia seems to be the only ample breeding ground for proper post-punk to flourish, there is a silver lining in there for mankind. And for

Ufornia

.

"Never Knew" is the newest single from these two young Danish shoegazers, Morten Søgaard and Nicolai Kornerup, and it's off of their splendid debut EP

Fall Into the Real

, that has been riding a wave of praise across Europe's blogosphere since its release in mid-August. This third-ever single from Ufornia starts off with face-kicking intensity and expands into a vast soundscape of synths anchored by steady beats.

Ufornia is definitely worth your time, so let yourself drift off with them sooner rather than later - the world is ending after all.

Catch them live at Forbrændingen in Albertslund.
