In the first band, Cellular Chaos, the bassist played with a folding chair. What's the craziest thing you've ever seen somebody play an instrument with?
Tony Conrad takes the cake, man. He's fucking an amazing avant-garde noise musician who's been teaching avant-garde noise music in Buffalo for over a decade. He's played everything from saws to, like – everything. I've seen him play pretty fucked up violin things, and that's pretty mind-blowing. Tony Conrad is amazing! I love his video artwork.
