Get Electrified with David Blaine This Weekend

Hey New York: You should come down to watch Blaine deprive himself of food, water, and sleep enveloped in a 1,000,000-volt cocoon of electricity streaming from seven Tesla coils for an entire weekend.

David Blaine has been buried alive for a week, frozen inside a block of ice, starved in a suspended apartment, and drowned alive, but he’s always managed to come up with a stunt that is even more bat-shit crazy than the last. This weekend, The Ultrabook™ Experience  will host his newest life-threatening stunt at Pier 54, W. 14th Street in New York City. You should come down to watch Blaine deprive himself of food, water, and sleep enveloped in a 1,000,000-volt cocoon of electricity streaming from seven Tesla coils.

The daredevil/superhuman/badass plans to stand in the middle of a 44-foot diameter globe the entire weekend with a mysterious and surprise finale on Monday evening. The event is free and open to the public so you can watch Blaine do what no sane person would even imagine doing. The doors will open tonight, October 5, at 6:30 PM.

If you’re not in NYC, check out the global live stream on YouTube (LeTV in China) all weekend, with satellite interactive pop-ups running in London, Beijing, Sydney, and Tokyo at at selected times late Friday night.
