House of Commons Speaker John Bercow has said he is "strongly opposed" to Donald Trump speaking to Parliament during his upcoming state visit. A petition to withdraw Trump's state visit invitation will be debated by MPs later this month. – BBC

Scotland's First Minister Nicole Sturgeon has warned the UK government against ignoring Scotland's wishes as it forges ahead with plans to leave the European Union. The SNP, Labour and the Lib Dems will all vote against Article 50 at Holyrood today. – Scotsman
