Bartolo Colon is a baseball oddity and delight who cannot for the life of him keep his damn helmet on his head while batting. In the bottom of the third tonight against the Orioles, Colon was fooled—fooled insomuch as a person who has next to no idea what he is doing can be fooled—on an off-speed pitch in an 0-2 count. The force of his swing caused a minor wind event at home plate and the helmet was whipped off his head. As he tried to grab it behind his back with his free hand, his bat swung around and finally made contact with something. Unfortunately it was the helmet. Twice. So here's the deal, we are going to try to keep track and highlight every time this happens to Bartolo because…why not? Don't act like you don't enjoy watching this.
