Let's be honest, it's a holiday week and you've mentally checked out at work. It's OK, work isn't really important anyway. It's just work. Life is what matters, and a life is well-lived if it's filled with laughter, along with the occasional moment of horrible—my God, dreadful—feeling of watching someone's most embarrassing minutes on earth broadcast on the local news and later uploaded to YouTube.This is fifteen minutes of sports news bloopers, many clips you likely have already seen, but I promise you will enjoy it all the same. I watched the whole thing and laughed at almost every clip, until the end. The end is where it gets heavy because it is Brian "Boom Goes the Dynamite" Collins and sweet Jesus, what a disaster that was.As soon as I saw his poor face I remembered instantly "gets the rebound, passes it to the man, shoots it, and boom goes the dynamite." What I had forgotten, however, is just how bad everything else was leading up to that moment. Collins was filling in that night and a new teleprompter operator accidentally fast-forwarded through his script and he had to ad lib basically the whole bit. It's excruciating.
