VICE Meets Elizabeth May

May is without a doubt the face of the Green Party and has been for almost ten years, even though she says she can't stand politics. We find out why she's still fighting it out this election.

This election, VICE has been meeting with and putting questions to all the federal leaders. In our final interview we sit down with Elizabeth May, leader of the Green Party. We talk about her plans to build oil refineries in Alberta and eliminate the need for pipelines, her conditions for working with the NDP and Liberals, and the one thing that Alberta could do to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to those of the oil sands. May is without a doubt the face of the Green Party and has been for almost ten years, even though she says she can't stand politics. We find out why she's still fighting it out this election, how she plans to scrap tuition by 2020, and how she would deal with Vladimir Putin and the Islamic State.
