Evian Christ's New Trance Party Website is Actually The Greatest Thing Ever

He's teamed up with David Rudnick again for another out of this world online experience.

Update: Since publishing this article, David Rudnick has pointed out to us that Ezra Miller, a New York based artist and designer, was as much a part of the project he was. The following tweet makes the collaboration clear.

if wonder where coding+incredible beautiful mystery colours come from on site, it is 100% the skill of Noted TeenActor Ezra Miller — ཊལབསརངཧ (@David_Rudnick)November 14, 2016

Cast your mind back to September 2015—pre-Trump, pre-May, pre-cauliflower rice, the world seemed so simple, didn't it? In a way, it was the last time we here at THUMP UK were happy, and if you're a regular reader you'll remember that our happiness stemmed from the arrival of a new online collaboration between Evian Christ and the designer David Rudnick. Their site—a needlessly gorgeous digital flyer for Christ's fourth Trance Party, that's sadly been lost in the virtual abyss—was, and still remains, one of the most ludicrously enjoyable internet experiences imaginable, and an immensely refreshing tonic in an age where most of us don't ever deviate from the homepages of Gmail, Facebook, and Twitter.

Knowing that most of us could do with a distraction from the impending apocalypse that looms ever closer as the seconds fade away, the deadly duo are back with another online experience that's slightly more rewarding than flicking through some communist shut-in's timeline. Created ahead of the fifth Trance Party, which takes place on the 9th of December at London's Corsica Studios, the site—which you can view in all its rococo glory right here—features a head to head clash for the ages: Trance Welbeck versus Progessive Welbeck. What's the perma-injured Arsenal forward got to do with a night that features the likes of Total Freedom, Nightcoregirl, Kamixlo, araabMUZIK, and Christ himself? We don't know, and we're not particularly fussed. It looks great, and that's all that matters.

The site sounds great, too, but, well, we don't want to ruin the surprise. Get clicking right now, and get set for another world class party, brought to you by a world class website.
