Cleanthony Early was robbed at gunpoint in an Uber and shot in the leg as he was leaving a strip club in Queens early Wednesday morning. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening, but the incident still sounds pretty damn scary. Early and his girlfriend were leaving Cityscapes Gentleman's Club in Queens at around 4:15 Wednesday morning when their Uber was boxed in by three cars and four to six men jumped out.

The men approached — two of them with guns, one wearing a ski mask — and pulled Early from the back seat, holding him up with semi-automatic pistols.
"Give me everything you got," the men told Early, according to police sources.

Early did as they asked, handing over a couple of gold chains, cash, his iPhone, and even the gold caps on his teeth. According to the reports, Early was then shot in the left leg after giving everything he had. The Uber driver was also robbed and had his ID stolen. Early was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he underwent surgery, and was later transported to another hospital. The Knicks are aware of the incident, relieved he will be OK, and will not be commenting until they have more information.
