We Have A Raiders Buttfumble

Derek Carr and the Raiders get us about as close as we're going to get to another buttfumble.

We're probably never going to get anything that comes close to the ignominy of Mark Sanchez and the OG buttfumble, but this is the Raiders and it involves a quarterback fumbling into his offensive lineman's back so it's a buttfumble, dammit.

Here's another angle:

Carr and the Raiders had an uphill battle to make this game interesting and essentially ended it on this play when Carr pulled the ball down and ran right into Austin Howard. The pocket was pretty clean, and Carr wasn't under any serious pressure—he was surrounded by his own men, actually—but he tried to take off and ran right into his own lineman. There are probably two teams (other than the Jets) capable of buttfumbling in such a way that delights the entire country and they are the Raiders and the Browns. It was only a matter of time before it happened.
