Russian Hockey Coach Left Shirtless after Bench Brawl with Opposing Coach

Two coaches in a Russian minor league hockey game brawled on the bench and one lost his shirt, tie, and blazer.

This, from the minor leagues of the KHL, is one of the most remarkable hockey fights I've ever seen. Mostly because the main participants are coaches rather than players, but also because of the partial nudity. THC and Izhstal were in the second period of a playoff game when THC coach Alex Zhdahin wanted to chat with the referees about some calls he was not happy with and Izhstal coach Andrei Razin decided to get in on the conversation, too. Zhdahin shoved Razin out of the way and all hell broke loose.

The action gets cooking around the :50 mark and goes on for over five minutes.

The camera cuts to the crowd as things really devolve, so we don't really see how it happened, but at some point Razin lost his blazer, shirt, and tie. You'll definitely notice when he finally reemerges, though, because he will be shirtless and flexing for the crowd. Razin either couldn't find his clothes, or simply didn't feel like putting anything back on because he remained shirtless for some time, as he talked with referees and players. The man was walking around with slacks on and nothing else. He looked like a sorry drunk guy who mistakenly wandered onto the ice.

The referees finally got everything under control and the teams were actually able to finish the game. Izhstal and Razin got their redemption with a 3-2 win in overtime. Razin never did get that shirt back, though.
