Elle Reeve has been following the white nationalist movement since the election. Her Charlottesville coverage, where she embedded with alt-right members, exposed a bewildering microcosm of racism and radicalization. This year, on the anniversary of the Charlottesville rally , the same group had organized another Unite the Right protest to espouse ideas of white supremacy. While the protest was going on, Reeve revisited some of the people from the Charlottesville march. What she found through her research was a a fractured movement of white nationalists.
