Did A Houston Astros Executive use David Eckstein as his Password?

Chris Correa guessed an Astros executive's password and it was almost certainly David Eckstein's name.

God, I hope this is true. Given the context, it's almost impossible for it not to be true, but we can't say for sure. Earlier in the month, former Cardinals scouting director Chris Correa appeared in court to plead guilty to charges related to his hacking the Astros private scouting database, Ground Control. Correa worked under current Astros GM Jeff Luhnow when he was with the Cardinals, and it was claimed that Ground Control was based on proprietary information belonging to St. Louis.

While appearing before district court judge Lynn Hughes—who appears to be a character, as you can see above—Correa explained on the record how he hacked Ground Control and for what purposes. Initially he thought they stole the Cardinals' work, but confirmed he "trespassed repeatedly." The whole transcript is worth reading; it's short and at times hilarious, but why we're really here is how Correa got in. In pleading guilty, Correa admitted he used software to mask his location and identity and then guessed at a high-ranking Astros executive's password. Based on the description, it's just got to be former Angels and Cardinals sprite David Eckstein:

How the word "grit" did not make it into that description, I'll never know. Thanks to @weed_mouse for catching this. We are forever indebted.
