Tony Romo Leaves Game with Broken Clavicle and God Really Screws Over Brandon Weeden

Tony Romo left the game against the Eagles with an injury and Brandon Weeden kind of predicted it.

Tony Romo took a big hit from Jordan Hicks as he was fumbling the ball and landed hard on his shoulder, with all of Hicks's weight on top of him. Romo was writhing on the turf, grabbing his shoulder/collarbone area and after FOX came back from a commercial break, he was seen walking to the locker room and you could see him mouth the words "it's broken." The Cowboys later announced he suffered a fractured left clavicle. In 2010, Romo suffered a similar injury to his left shoulder in a Monday night game against the Giants.

Adding intrigue to this bad news is Brandon Weeden, now in the game for the Cowboys. Not two months ago, Weeden told reporters he was feeling content with his backup role in Dallas, adding "God forbid I am forced to play."

Goddammit, Brandon. Why would you tempt fate like this. It's like you don't even want the Cowboys to be good, Brandon. You know God was just waiting to make you look foolish and now here we are, with a decimated Dallas Cowboys team that just learned Dez Bryant may be out for 10-12 weeks instead of the initial 4-6 estimate, and a defense missing several key players, too.

The severity of Romo's injury is still unclear—Dallas is saying they'll know more tomorrow—but he missed ten games due to the 2010 injury.
