The play itself worked, but just like the other awesome play today, it was called back for a penalty. No Fun League, man. Johnny Manziel came on for one play, a handoff to Isaiah Crowell, and then looked to run off the field to discuss things with Kyle Shanahan. There was some gesticulating as if they were having a disagreement, but Manziel never actually left the field. The ravens completely ignored the discussion as Shanahan and Manziel calmly waited for Hoyer to snap the ball. As soon as he did, Shanahan told Manziel to take off down the field and Hoyer hit him as he ran down the sideline all alone.
