This is amazing. There are so many questions, such as: why? Not to mention, how? Filip Bondy of the New York Daily News, the only person who seems to have the quote, does not go into detail about how victorious tennis player CoCo Vandeweghe came to call Carmelo soft and lacking in a killer instinct. Maybe he asked her about it? Maybe she took it upon herself because she is a frustrated Knicks fan. We just don't know. There is a history there, though: Kiki Vandeweghe actually drafted Carmelo with the Nuggets.CoCo did not just talk about Carmelo; she also questioned Phil Jackson's recent draft pick. She's not distraught by the idea of Kristaps Porzingis, but she has some concerns, as well as a not-totally-unreasonable request for the team: "I'm unsure about the first round draft pick…I just want one winning season.
