Remy Ma Says She's "Not Particularly Proud" of Her Nicki Minaj Diss

But you better believe she stands by the seven-minute track length.

When she released "shETHER," her ruthless Nicki Minaj diss, Remy Ma momentarily transported the rap world back to its heyday of popcorn-grab inducing beefs as she went in hard on the self-proclaimed Queen of Rap.  Another, less well-received diss later, and having received no response, Remy is ready to put the whole episode to bed, as she told an audience of students in her native borough, the Bronx, when she sat down with Tracy Clayton and Heben Nigatu of the podcast Another Round for a live event: "It's over now," she told them. "If she wants to say something then cool, but I've said what I have to say and that's really it." When approaching the topic of "shETHER" she prefaced it by saying: "I do not condone or recommend the tearing down of another female, that's not what I do […] I think we work so much better when we work together." However, after a number of "behind the scenes" jabs from Nicki, she felt compelled to set things straight, the old-fashioned way. Oh, and asked about the runtime of the diss, Remy had just a little tea to spill: "I just wanted to make sure I got everything in. I felt seven minutes was fair."
