The End of Giants-Patriots Deserves the Yakety Sax Treatment, so Here it Is

It was a Benny Hill-level calamity.

Things got bad for the Giants at the end of the Giants-Patriots game. Like, comically bad. Giants fans all but rolled out a victory banner as they went up 26-24 with a minute and change on the clock. But the Pats had other plans. A late game drive ended in a field goal with a 27-26 Patriots lead and only one second left on the clock. So what was there left to do? Simply the most desperate try you could go for. Like, Miami-Duke level desperate.

But let's just say that the result wasn't quite as effective as Miami-Duke. What, with the bumbling and the fumbling and the laterals and the silliness and the out-of-bounds-edness. So, obviously, something needed to be done to commemorate the earnest, but ultimately failed attempt. Thus, we gave it the Yakety Sax treatment (of Benny Hill fame). You're absolutely welcome.
