Jaylen Walton Weaves 91-Yards For Crazy Touchdown

Jaylen Walton slashes his way to an improbably 91-yard touchdown that made everyone a little nuts.

Jaylen Walton snaked his way through the Mississippi State defense for 91 yards and the third longest touchdown run in Ole Miss history. Walton started out running to his right, and scampered and darted his way back left to the far sideline for a footrace he would not lose. Walton broke one tackle in the middle of the line, but was otherwise untouched (excepting a salty Bulldog who shoved him after he got in the end zone). It blew the minds of many, including this woman.

Prior to Walton's run, the Rebels held a slim seven-point lead, but the Bulldogs responded relatively quickly with a touchdown of their own early in the fourth quarter to cut the lead to 24-17. They didn't score again, though, while Ole Miss added another touchdown to make the final score in the Egg Bowl 31-17.

Here's Ole Miss radio man David Kellum's call of the Walton run, since home crews are always much more fun than the national stiffs.
