Creator Rafaël Rozendaal is one of today’s most well-known net artists, and his sensitive and ironic approach to internet-based art challenges the need to visit physical exhibition spaces in order to appreciate art. He was recently commissioned by the Abandon Normal Devices (AND) festival to create a series of ten animated GIFs, called Happy Mondays, that have been released every Monday for the past ten weeks surrounding the festival.
