Heartbeat Makes Dance History At GOODGOD

Dusty Fingers and Steele Bonus make clubbing history with new night Heartbeat.

Club culture is a pretty forward thinking movement. A quick survey of the current market reveals plenty of future soul, future bass and future beats. But often it pays to check out the past. It worked for Marty McFly, and it's working for Heartbeat, a new night from Sydney's dance dons Dusty Fingers and Steele Bonus. If you've ever wondered what the punk funk discoteques of the late '70s and early '80s sounded like, wished you were there for the beginnings of Balearic, or are just looking for a house history lesson then Heartbeat is here for you. Dusty Fingers has his, well, finger on the pulse and knows what time it is (hint: it could be 1981, or 1982). The in-demand Steele Bonus put together a special mix to promote the night, streaming here.
