Ted Ginn, Jr. Returns Punt 71 Yards For Touchdown

Ted Ginn, Jr. finally has a decent punt return.

Arizona brought Ted Ginn, Jr. in on a three-year deal to be a game changer on special teams, but he had been awful in a game-and-three-quarters. One missed tackle in the fourth quarter, though, turned another rotten week into a touchdown and a 19-14 Arizona lead over the Giants. Once Ginn broke the initial tackle and found some space, he turned on the speed and was gone. Check out another angle to see just how close this was to being a non-event.

Things got worse for the Giants on the following kickoff, when Quintin Demps fumbled the return at the New York 21. Fortunately the Cardinals only got a field goal out of that possession, for a 22-14 lead but the Giants have been shooting themselves in the foot all day. 70 yards in penalties, two fumbles lost, and an interception have all doomed New York.
