Russell Westbrook Answers Every Question With "Good Execution"

Russell Westbrook gave Lynchian post-game press conference after beating the Warriors, answering almost every questions with "good execution."

From this moment on, every post-game interview should either be like Nick Young's tour de force, or athletes straight-up trolling reporters. Following his spectacular game against the Warriors, Russell Westbrook opted to troll and answered virtually every question with a variation on "we did a good job of executing." The only time he didn't respond with praise for his team's execution was to tell a reporter he didn't like him.

According to the transcription, the reporter Westbrook specifically singled out was Berry Tramel of The Oklahoman. During the playoffs last year, the back page of the paper screamed "Mr. Unreliable" in reference to Kevin Durant after he missed what would have been a game-winning three in overtime against the Grizzlies. Berry Tramel wrote the accompanying article, so it's possible Russ is sticking it to the paper and author of a stupid column (the Thunder went on to win that series and the next series against the Clippers, only to lose to the eventual Champions, San Antonio, in six games). Even if it's not, though, it serves an important purpose. We all realize that post-game interviews are rarely if ever illuminating, so they might as well be entertaining. More of these from every player, in every sport, please.
