R. J. Hunter Drills Last Second Three-Pointer, Dad Goes Flying

Georgia State upsets Baylor thanks to an absolutely gigantic last-second three pointer from coach's son, R.J. Hunter.

Another No. 3 seed goes down at the hands of a No. 14 seed! Georgia State went on a 13-0 run to win and it took a dagger of a three-pointer from well-behind the arc to seal the upset. Leading 56-54, Baylor's best free throw shooter missed the front end of two foul shots and Georgia State got the rebound with around nine seconds left in the game and took their sweet ass time getting up the court.

They really looked like they had no idea what they were doing until R.J. Hunter just said fuck it and shot from about eight feet behind the three-point line. Hunter scored 12 of the 13 points in that run and his dad—coach Ron Hunter, who popped his achilles celebrating the Sun Belt tourney win and has been using a rolling chair—went flying out of the chair.
