OBJ Makes an Insane Diving One-Handed Catch for TD, But it Isn't Enough for the Giants

Eli and OBJ were polar opposites today.

Well, Odell Beckham Jr., not even your magic hands can save the Giants from the NFC East-topping Washington—or, from your own quarterback, for that matter.

After an absolutely abysmal start, in which Giants QB Eli Manning threw away three interceptions, New York was working off of a whiff of a prayer in the 4th quarter. OBJ seemed to be an early savior as he caught another astounding one-handed catch (above) to put the Giants within six of Washington.

But back to Eli: just take a look at two of those aforementioned interceptions from earlier in the game:

Not pretty.

And sure enough—after a Washington punt with less than a minute on the clock—a final drive led to the now-inevitable, last-second lateral play that fizzled out in yet another Manning blunder. This time, a toss out of bounds.

Watching OBJ's catch and Eli's interceptions, it's hard not to question whether Eli was awful today, or whether OBJ was a miracle man. The world may never know.
