Good morning, America. It's March 8, 2016. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop every morning for more headlines from around the world.

Yesterday, Maria Sharapova announced she failed a drug test at the Aussie Open. She has since been dropped by sponsors Nike and Tag Heuer.

Jennifer Capriati went on a pretty incredible, slightly unhinged Twitter rant when the news broke. VICE Sports's own Sean Newell has the recap.

Yesterday, I noted Andrea Pirlo's slowness. The dude is old and has a lot of miles on his legs and is arguably a liability for NYCFC. I say "arguably," though, because he remains a savant in how he reads the game, or even individual players.

The Champions League is back tonight. Real Madrid are at home against Roma. Madrid are up 2-0 on aggregate. Ghent hosts Wolfsburg. The Wolves have a 3-2 aggregate lead.

This just in, via the Guardian: "Supporters jumping up and down at the King Power Stadium when Leicester grabbed an 89th-minute winner against Norwich City caused a quake with a magnitude of 0.3, researchers have said."

The U.S. Olympic Team media summit happened featured a lot of photos of athletes with balloons. As you can plainly see, this photo of middle-distance runner Alysia Montaño is the best.
