Indianapolis Brewery has "Tom Brady Sux" on Cans

An Indianapolis brewery snuck a hidden message on the bottom of its beer cans: "Tom Brady Sux."

A SKB employee had fun w the canning date coder. While we don't condoned the message we understand his Colts passion http://t.co/ADuZpvpd85

The Indianapolis Colts have a weird place in this whole DeflateGate mess. They blew the whistle on Brady and the Pats, emailing the Vigilant Stewards of the Shield prior to the AFC Championship, and later threw up an AFC Finalist banner after the Pats dusted them in that same Championship. They've generally been kind of lame about the whole thing, but this, from an obvious fan, is pretty funny.

It seems the Sun King Brewing company — which is based of out of Indy and even sells beer at Lucas Oil Stadium — had a little fun with the expiration dates stamped on the bottom of some of their cans. One of their kitschy little things they do to distinguish themselves is to incorporate quick messages into the expiration date like "Drink and repeat," or an Indy 500-themed version might say "Turn Left." You get the idea.

They change the message every day and on this particular day, the world was still enraptured with DeflateGate. The Wells Report had just come out the previous week and a Colts fan was manning the can line and had to come up with a message. This man — who is known only as "Biscuit," by the way —chose "Tom Brady Sux."

The Indianapolis Star tracked down co-owner Clay Robinson and he was shocked, though he still enjoyed it.

"We were like, 'Oh, wow,'" Robinson said. "We were like, 'What the hell were you thinking?'"
Biscuit (who Robinson declined to reveal the true identity of) still works for Sun King, but he now is required to submit a list of the sayings he plans to stamp on the bottom of beer cans each week. And, Robinson, concedes, "I actually thought it was funny. Now there are thousands of cans out there that say 'Tom Brady Sux.'"

Totally agreed, but don't censor Biscuit, man. Look at all this publicity he got you guys. Let Biscuit live.
