Roger Goodell and Robert Kraft Hug, Thus Ending Our Long National Nightmare

Roger Goodell and Robert Kraft have hugged it out after the DeflateGate controversy and punishment. Birds are singing.

The news is pouring in and nothing is official just yet, so we may be jumping the gun here, but the NFL's darkest days may finally be in the rear view mirror. Roger Goodell and Robert Kraft, scions of the NFL—responsible for the exponential growth of wealth for all involved (except current and former players) and the most dubiously successful franchise of the past decade-plus, respectively—have met in person to discuss the DeflateGate controversy. One industry source was fortunate enough to witness the two giants hug.

In the wake of the Patriots' shameless cheating unearthed by the Indianapolis Colts and confirmed by Ted Wells's investigation into the DeflateGate controversy, the most pressing question facing the NFL was how were BFFs Roger Goodell and Robert Kraft, Good and Krafty as they are affectionately known to each other, going to move on. Would they still be BFFs? Would they merely be BFs for a finite amount of time? Just Fs? We had literally no idea. We still might not have the full picture, but things are looking very good. The sun is shining. Birds are singing. Adam Schefter said they hugged.
