This Week on Noisey

We've got rappers with broken hearts and a 'round-the-world trip stealing music.

OK, so, you've probably seen a few Noisey articles cropping up in the music section of VICE.com for a while now. But to usher you over properly and turn you into a full addict, I'll be doing a weekly roundup of the latest and greatest articles to hit the site.

This week, we've really gone through a whole gamut of emotions in rap. Complex's Ernest Baker talks us through why hip-hop sucks when your girlfriend's cheated on you, Luke Winkie breaks down Wu Tang's unashamedly nerdy foundations, I fell in love with everyone's new favourite Jewish MC, Aaron Cohen AND we dropped the brand new video from Haleek Maul, directed by our very own Andy Capper.

For the global portion of Noisey, we sent our intern with no coat  and no clue what he was really doing, to a rave in the arctic circle, with the appropriately named alt-pop duo Frost, then we broke down WTF italo-disco is and finally, we took a tour around the world in pirated music. FYI, the UK's most thieved artist was Ed Sheeran, hang your heads in shame Britain.

So, I'm not going to say some polite ish like, "visit Noisey for all your music needs teehee :)" but I am going to say, you better frickin' bookmark Noisey as your new fav music site if you know what's good for you. Non-cringey music reviews, honest opinions on the most interesting stories in music and not a shitty rehashed press release in sight… What the fuck are you waiting for?

Lots of love,

Jo FK
