White House Takes UFO ‘Incursions Into Our Airspace...Very Seriously’

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki revealed that a UFO report is coming, but wouldn’t commit to its full release.

The Office of the Director Of National Intelligence (ODNI) is actively working on a report about UFOs and President Biden supports the effort. That’s according to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki who was asked about UFOs during the White House daily Press Briefing on May 25.

The reporter had previously asked a question about COVID-19 and giggled when transitioning to the question about UFOs. “The giggle gives it away,” Psaki said before the question was asked.

“This is quite a serious issue,” the reporter said. “There are these unrecognized objects in U.S. airspace, they’re also known as unidentified aerial phenomenon,” a reporter asked. “Can the Biden administration commit to releasing it in full?”

The Pentagon has declassified a lot of information about strange lights and objects in the sky recently as part of a new era of transparency around what it calls unidentified aerial phenomena. ODNI has an end-of-June deadline for a report detailing what it knows about the issue. “There are a lot more sightings than have been made public,” former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said on Fox News in March.

With the deadline for the report just a few weeks away, journalists and the public are curious about how much of the report might be redacted. Psaki said that it was ODNIs, not the President’s, decision to make. “We take reports of incursion into our airspace by any aircraft, identified or unidentified, very seriously and investigate each one,” she said. “But ODNI would be working on that report and, in terms of disclosure, that would be up to them.”

The reporter then asked a follow up about the President's mood regarding the strange lights in the sky. “I think the fact that we have a team that’s actively working on a report—certainly the safety of our personnel, the security of our operations, our airspace, are of paramount concern,” Psaki said. “Whether that is identified or unidentified aircraft, and we don’t discuss that publicly for a range of reasons, but certainly the President supports the ODNI putting together a report and following through on that commitment.”

Navy Pilots are the most high profile and credible witnesses of UFOs and several of them recently gave interviews to 60 Minutes where they detailed their experiences. Former President Barack Obama appeared on The Late Show with James Corden last week and Reggie Watts asked him about all the UFO news. “When it comes to aliens, there are some things I just can’t tell you on air,” Obama said. “But what is true is that there is footage and records of objects in the sky that we don’t know exactly what they are. How they move, their trajectory. They did not have an easily explainable pattern.”
