If imitating the masters is the quickest way to learn, Georgina Ryland is on her way to becoming the Vincent van Gogh of eye makeup. Using her own face as a canvas, Ryland's renditions of van Gogh's Starry Night and Japanese legend Hokusai's The Great Wave off Kanagawa take 45 minutes to an hour to paint, according to a comment on Reddit. She also creates original designs like the pun-filled cat's eye-liner, a tiny fast food feast, and a stunning galactic vista. Her short making-of videos on Instagram put Ryland squarely in the trend of makeup artist-as-performer that we pointed out last year.A photo posted by Georgina Ryland (@georginaryland) on Mar 8, 2016 at 7:06am PST
