Klay Thompson Tries to Cheat at Go Karts, Gets Stuck

The cliché goes: Klay Thompson plays basketball like he's in a video game. Now he's acting like it in his free time.

While out on vacation, Thompson decided to try to bypass a peninsula of grass to beat out the competition on a go-kart track. To no avail.

Being the religious man that he is, Klay felt a need to moralize the situation. "Cheaters never prosper," he wrote in the caption, punctuated with Mario Kart references, and the brilliant #lightskindjeffgordon.

All he needed was a red mushroom to get through.
